Mens Cashmere Sweaters

Any sweater made from cashmere automatically qualifies it as an expensive and worthwhile item to possess. Cashmere has a certain quality to it that every time it is touched, it transfers a soft and comfy feeling that leaves the person wanting more.

As mentioned, cashmere sweaters (or cashmere ANYTHING) tend to be quite expensive merely due to the fact that it is pure wool. It takes about four years off of one goat to bring enough wool for just one sweater.

Cashmere has an interesting texture, and believe it or not, not everybody likes them. I, for one, find them itchy and rather rough because of my extremely sensitive skin. However, I know most people appreciate it because it is a durable fabric, and it is light, soft, and warm. They can make excellent outer pieces to prevent the itchiness. They are perfect for colder weathers, and they are considered very fashionable for both men and women. You can gift it to anyone, and as long as they know it is cashmere, they will appreciate its fine quality.

So where exactly does cashmere come from? They are the fleeces of the Kashmir goat (hence the name cashmere). These goats are mainly raised and bred in the Mongolian areas. Recently, Americans have been herding these goats as well because of their high value.

A cashmere sweater is actually really worth its high price. They are delicate but very durable items and they are really great for year around wear. In the spring, they are very light and breathable so that it keeps you away from the chilly winds at night. In the fall and winter times, it is warm and soft enough to be paired with any dress shirt to make a perfect professional wardrobe. Not only that, but you really get some respectable looks if you tell people that the sweater you own is cashmere. ESPECIALLY for men.

Below are some links to a few of my favorite cashmere sweaters, both crewneck and v-neck for your tastes and preferences. Also, I have attached a link to a video that I saw on Youtube telling you why you need a cashmere sweater (if you don’t believe me already…) Happy shopping!!

Zara Sweaters for Men

The Zara Sweaters line are becoming more and more popular among men and women of all different age groups. It seems that the store, Zara, is becoming a favorite among men especially due to their unique clothing taste and colors. It suggests the metrosexuality style that many other stores carry during the recent times, and it’s an excellent store to shop at for style variations at an affordable price for the average men.

Some have compared the Zara store with stores such as H&M or French Connection due to their similarity in style. However, price range wise, Zara and H&M is closer to the less expensive side. Upon entering a men’s section of Zara, there is a special essence about the designs, the styles, and the quality of the clothes available. They all included an element of luxurious touch found often in only high class brand names such as Gucci or Armani.

H&M, on the other hand, is a different story. It focuses on more popular street styles and it appeals to a slightly younger crowd whose styles change daily. We will discuss H&M’s styles at another time.

So back to sweaters at Zara… Zara sweaters are well known for their comfort and shapes that seems to fit onto every person’s body perfectly. Their sweaters are usually made from cotton or wool and occasionally with a blend of cashmere. They have a wide range of selection of button-up and zip-up sweaters which make them easier to be layered for a bolder fashion statement.

Also, Zara mens sweaters includes many lightweight V-neck styles that can be layered onto either dress shirts or polos. The sweaters here are usually in a sort of sheer material and usually lightly colored. This makes it easier to be matched with a brightly colored t-shirt for a traditional yet modern look.

Along with the modern plain colored styles, Zara also includes specific patterns such as the ever-so-popular argyle. Zara is able to transform this traditional style into something a bit more popular for a younger crowd by its unique blend of colors and different uses of various shapes to update the look.

There are also some sweater vests available under the Zara brand. These are super lightweight so they really be worn any time during the year. They are very comfortable and fits well over practically anything. I highly suggest purchasing one for your wardrobe to help you update a unique style when you have nothing but a plain dress shirt or even just another tee.

I have read some reviews on the Zara sweaters and many seem to prefer them because of their light comfy feeling. Also, they are not expensive at all so you can get fashion at an affordable price! There is a wide range of color choices, so you won’t have to fear that you will not find the one that will go perfectly with the rest of your clothes. There is practically a style and color for almost any shirt, jeans, pants, etc. These sweaters can fit into any occasion, whether it is formal or casual.

If you do decide to check out the store, make sure to look at their jean and tee selection as well. They also offer a wide array of accessories that can help you look even greater.

And here are some pictures of different Zara sweaters being worn by people in the city:

I particularly like the style on the left due to the simplicity of the stripes yet the unique touch of the piece adding a flavor to the whole outfit. It really is a simple piece that accentuates the other simple pieces.

Argyle Sweaters

The argyle style has been around for practically forever, and based on the looks of it, it won’t be gone for a while. This pattern consists of diamonds diagonally aligned in a checkerboard arrangement.

Why do so many like this pattern? It’s simple yet sophisticated. It can add a unique touch to a sweater to give it a bit more color and style. It can be formal enough for a business meeting when worn under a suit jacket or blazer. Meanwhile, you can find it on a casual or formal date where it gives off a stylish and sexy appeal while sending off a fun but serious-when-necessary feeling that attracts many women. At the same time, if you want to just wear it on a casual night out with some friends, that is completely fine too.

Many stores are beginning to carry the argyle style due to its heightened popularity, but a few of the stores that almost ALWAYS carry it include Banana Republic and J. Crew. I really like the J. Crew cashmere argyle sweaters because they are incredibly soft to touch. They are not 100% cashmere, but they are still warm and comfy enough to pass off, so they are a personal favorite of mine. Before you buy it, however, you should make a trip to the store and feel the material for yourself as to whether or not you would like it. Some people are very sensitive to the fabric of their clothing, and some might find blended cashmere to be either itchy or uncomfortable.

I also found this website called the Argyle Aisle which is like an eBay site but ONLY for argyle items. Check it out! It offers a lot of items, not just men’s sweaters.
